Secret: Add weight to the bar and work your core from different angles.

How to do it…

Use heavy weight and do challenging compound exercises such as the squat or deadlift.  These moves engage your core and burn more calories than isolation exercises, helping you to shred fat and reveal your abs.

Butler’s trainer recommends this ab workout at the end of a gym session:

  • Hanging leg raises – 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps
  • Planks - 3 sets, holding for a minimum of 30 seconds, but try to add more time each session

We expect to see Butler team up with a trainer again as recent pictures have revealed he has lost his ripped look.  Perhaps he will go back to the 300 Workout to prepare for his next flick.
