in Celebrity Diets

kristen bell you again1 Kristen Bell Stays Slim, Even When in Rome celebrity diets Although it is tough to resist pasta and gelato in Italy, When in Rome star Kristen Bell manages to stay fit and healthy. “I remind myself how much better I feel when I’m eating better foods and have the adrenaline and endorphins from exercising.”

As far as diet is concerned, Kristen is an animal-rights supporter and became a vegetarian at age 11. Although Kristen was only a kid when she gave up meat, her mom was a nurse and made sure she didn’t miss out on nutrition. Kristen realizes, “It’s not just protein you might lose out on; it’s magnesium and zinc and other things animals provide. I try to eat more fresh foods than processed ones, and the grainiest bread possible.” Kristen also finds it “comforting to count calories” because it makes her conscious of what she puts in her body.

If you want to follow Kristen’s diet, she recommends creating a “colorful plate.” “I make a spinach salad with things like blueberries, apples and carrots.” You can also try Kristen’s favorite vegan treat, Uncle Eddies Vegan Cookies. Kristen says, “It doesn’t even matter that they’re vegan. They’re simply the best cookies. Ever!” Don’t worry if this diet sounds unattainable, Kristen allows the occasional indulgence. For example, on Super Bowl Sunday she thinks, “Surrender to it. It’s nacho time.”

When it comes to exercise, Kristen likes variety and realizes that small changes make a big difference. Kristen says, “I change it up all the time. I try to keep it interesting.” Additionally, Kristen has not taken the stairs for almost 7-years. “Even at the airport, I won’t take the escalators. I find that those little bits of exercise make a difference.” Finally, Kristen does yoga to “stay aware” of her body, and trains twice a week to build muscle.

Overall, Kristen has a balanced approach to diet and exercise. Incorporating just one of her tips into your routine will make you feel healthier.

I totally want to buy these! Do they sell them in stores too?

Even though they are based in L.A. they are only sold online (Amazon). There is a link on the post. It’s $24, but it’s 4 bags. Sure $6 is a lot for a pack of cookies, but it’s just a treat (i.e., only 1 at a time!)
