TONBA 200x300 NBA All Star Celebrity Game fitness news celebrity fitness The 2010 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will air live on ESPN on Friday at 7PM eastern as part of this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend in Dallas.  While most of us are snowed in this weekend as the winter weather continues to pummel the country, this is an exciting game worth checking out as it not only features former NBA stars and members of the Harlem Globetrotters but is also packed with several of Hollywood’s hottest celebs.

Of course Mario Lopez will be in on the action…he’s been everywhere this year and is serving as an assistant coach for one of the squads.  2009 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game MVP Terrell Owens will also be on hand to defend his crown.

Doctor Oz, Chris Tucker, Joel Moore of Avatar, Pitbull, Mark Cuban, Michael Rapaport, Terrence J, Common, and PGA Tour Pro Anthony Kim round out the list of celebs participating in the game.

This is the second celebrity sports game in as many weeks.  The NFL hosted the Celebrity Beach Bowl along with Super Bowl weekend.

Playing a game of basketball is a great way to get in an intense cardio session without grinding out a monotonous routine on the elliptical or treadmill.   Finding new ways to keep your workouts fun and challenging is a good way to stay fit.   Former American Idol champion David Cook runs football routes with his trainer to keep up his fitness.
